FIABCI – The International Real Estate Federation was established in Paris in 1949. It is the professional alliance of real estate industrial associations with 65 national chapters and about two million members. FIABCI works closely with the UN. It obtained the consultative status in the Economic and Social Council of the UN and has been seeking solutions to global housing problem with UN-HABITAT. Establishment of FIABCI-Macau was approved at the General Assembly in Brussels on December 5^th, 2009. It is composed of members from industries of construction, property management, real estate appraisers, lawyers and financial sectors. FIABCI-Macau will adhere to objectives to be patriotic, unite with the industrial colleagues, expand exchanges, and make the economy more prosperous. FIABCI-Macau will provide direct access to international real estate contacts and business opportunities through the sharing of knowledge, information and business opportunities, defend on a worldwide professional interests of its members, and assist in cultural and educational exchanges among real estate professionals of different countries, in order to enhance healthy development of Macau’s society and economy, and make contribution to the practice of “One Country, Two Systems” in Macau.
